Meet Green Seasons Owner, Clint Baxter
Clint Baxter has spent his entire career in the green industry. Whether his time was spent working for a local garden center or landscape company, he's most at home with his hands in the soil, creating solutions for healthy lawns and properties.
Clint's love for healthy plant life and the outdoors stems from his upbringing on the family farm that is still run by his brother to this day. He graduated with a degree in horticulture from Northwest Missouri State University in 2000. After gaining working experience at various local garden and landscaping companies, he met Chris Christensen, the founder of Green Seasons Inc. Chris was looking for an opportunity to retire and Clint was the perfect replacement for his position.
In 2010, Clint took over the company which served 225 customers and received 4 applications a year. Over the next 6 years, Green Seasons grew to serve a customer base of over 500 customers. After running the company for seven years, Clint hired his first employee. By 2022, he had 7 employees working for the company.
In the winter of '22/'23, Clint and the Green Seasons team acquired Lawn & Order from founders Bill and Angela Durand and bought the chemical division from Double Eagle Professional Turf Management from founder Kyle Bender. These two acquisitions quickly grew the customer base to over 1,000 lawns in 2022, and to 2,000 lawns in 2023. Even though he manages an experienced professional team, Clint still personally makes sales and service calls and does all the Emerald Ash Borer treatments along with many other tree and shrub treatments.
When Clint isn't cultivating gorgeous healthy lawns for Green Seasons' many satisfied customers, he enjoys rooting for his favorite sports teams and spending time with his family. He's a big fan of Chiefs Football, Royals Baseball, and the University of Missouri sports. Yet, he's a bigger fan of his wife, kids, and all the amazing people who work to make Green Seasons Lawn & Tree successful.
